Financial services intelligence, hmmm, not always all that it could be. Easy to get cynical as companies, peddle old public relations pap as ''innovative'', ''cutting edge'' and that.

Well there is a cure for you jaded people out there...and it comes in the real deal shape of a former Durham history grad, who incidentally knows a lot about Lord Melbourne.

Searching Finance is delighted to announce that Alex Bray, Managing Consultant, Digital Multi-Channel Transformation at IBM Global Business Services has signed to write a report on augmented reality in financial services.

Some more about Alex...

Alex is a banking and internet professional with over 10 years experience who has worked in the UK, Irish and Chinese markets.

Prior to working at IBM he was Senior Digital Manager, Loans & Mortgages at Lloyds Banking Group.

Alex tweets (as if you didn't know) as @stgilesresident, and is Chairmen of Trustees at The Phoenix Gardens, the multi-award winning public community garden in central London (as if you didn't know).

All being well, Augmented Reality in Financial Services will be published by Searching Finance in December 2011.
