Semico Research, a semiconductor marketing and consulting research firm, has released a new report that shows the impact of augmented reality on daily life and its effect on the markets making use of the technology.
Despite the age of augmented reality – dating back to when 3D technology was first developed – the technology is still in its early stages.
As such, the economic potential of the technology and its impact on consumers has not been fully investigated. Semico’s report aims to provide insight on the technology and predict the future value of the technology.
