Searching Finance is delighted to announce that Daniel Gusev is working with us to publish his first book.

Daniel is a specialist on digital banking and payments, and in his own words. ''a weatherman trying to guess where the next innovation in financial services will rainfall, and a socialist who believes that payments can contribute to better living''.

Trilingual, with majors in history and in finance, he was first with SAP, before working on financial services projects at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and then guiding innovation at VTB24, one of the largest banks in Russia. Now he is with his #nextbestthing startup, while occasionally helping other banks to bring real change in their (mostly digital) products and services.

Daniel is active in social space with both his Twitter feed and blog assessing innovation in financial services in Russia, and is currently toying with a number of titles for his book, including:

"Y banking",

"Y trends in banking"

"Y banking matters".
